Jose Vega, M.D.
Dr. Vega completed his internship and residency in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Mich., as well as completing a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology. Dr. Vega is board certified in Medical Oncology, Hematology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Vega serves as the Medical Director for Hendrick Cancer Center.

Christopher J. Trauth, M.D.
Dr. Trauth graduated from Louisiana State University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center. He completed his fellowship at The University of Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Traught is board certified in Medical Oncology.
Stella Amaechi, M.D.
Dr. Amaechi received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Florida. She served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at Saint Francis Medical Center in Trenton, New Jersey and completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Drexel/Hahnamann University Hospital in Philadelphia. She is certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
GuangQuan Zhao, M.D., PhD.
Dr. Zhao earned a Doctor of Medicine from Shandong Medical University in Jinan, China, and a Doctor of Philosophy from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.
Prior to serving on the Hematology/Oncology staff at the Center for Comprehensive Cancer Care in Mt. Vernon, Ill., he completed a residency in Internal Medicine and was a fellow in Hematology/Oncology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Brent P. Mahoney, M.D.
Dr. Mahoney completed his residency in radiation oncology. He received his PhD at the Graduate School for Cancer Biology at University of Arizona in Tucson. He then earned his medical degree from Tulane University of Arizona in Tucson, and completed an internship in internal medicine at University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Mahoney joins the oncology team at Hendrick Cancer Center, having served as Co-medical Director of the CyberKnife Center and Medical Director of the Department of Radiation Oncology, both at Lafayette General Medical Center in Louisiana.
He is widely-published in his field and is a member of American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology, American Association for Cancer Research, American Medical Association and Radiosurgery Society.
